Refocus...

Over the last few weeks, I went over hundreds of case files to check and see what areas of focus my clients come to see me for and what areas of focus gets me excited and interested.

The one area that came up the most was around relationships!!! That's right...relationships...of all kinds. Intimate ones, business ones...relationships...

So many of our "problems" begin with and find their solutions in relationship.  Whether it is your relationship with yourself...or your relationship with someone else...or some combination of both!

Now, this is so funny to me because for years I was to a certain extent relationship phobic...which is not really the right word....I just simply was not very good at them and certainly my communication skills left a great deal to be desired...but I learned...mostly the hard way.

It showed up in all areas of my life.  Teachers, students, colleagues, family, partners...yup...it was a real mess....so in a sense my mess became my mission and while I would never say that I am great fun at parties...the ones I go to for others, or the ones that are thrown for me, overall my relationships are much improved.

All good relationships start with one relationship first...and that is the one you are having with yourself.
