Tip for September 12, 2008 - Getting Your Year in Gear - Follow Through..
What a weekend... 28 people crammed in a room at the local Hampton Inn to create a foundation and vision for the coming 3 years. IT TOTALLY ROCKED!! The level of sharing, sincerity and authenticity was palpable and what was created was just as amazing. I was truly touched and awed by the work that everyone did. So let's chat a bit about getting YOUR year in gear.
These were some of the questions that we worked on during the weekend. You may be asking yourself: Why bother? Why is that so important? Well, it all depends on where you want to go. You might have a map, but without a compelling destination, that map is just a map and you are just wasting gas and energy, or as my dad used to say: going no place fast. If you were there this us last weekend and you want to continue to work on your Get Your Year In Gear process, then sign up for the Get Your Year in Gear Follow Through Program and start doing what really matters to you! Many blessings, "If I have been of service, if I have glimpsed more of the nature and essence of ultimate good, if I am inspired to reach wider horizons of thought and action, if I am at peace with myself, it has been a successful day." ~ Alex Noble "Peace has to be created, in order to be maintained. It is the product of Faith, Strength, Energy, Will, Sympathy, Justice, Imagination, and the triumph of principle. It will never be achieved by passivity and quietism." ~ Dorothy Thompson "We seek peace, knowing that peace is the climate of freedom." ~ Dwight D. Eisenhower "I believe that to meet the challenges of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility. Each of us must learn to work not just for oneself, one's own family or nation, but for the benefit of all humankind. Universal responsibility is the key to human survival. It is the best foundation for world peace." ~ Dalai Lama
